Abstract

Nanocomposite based on PEI and PTFE-nanoparticles was obtained by solution blending method, using dichloromethane as a solvent. PEI-PTFE nanocomposite was used as a matrix for glass fibre reinforced composite. The obtained composites were characterized by DSC, TGA, flexural test and DMTA. Using SEM analysis, the homogeneity of distribution of nanoparticles was analysed. The main improvement for fibre reinforced nanocomposite matrix was recorded in their thermal stability and thermal resistance.
