ABSTRACT
In recent years, sheet forming of textile
reinforced polymers have shown promising future applications. It is understood that the
reorientation of fabric structure at the microscopic level alters the macroscopic
constitutive relationship of the composite. In this paper, a new sheet forming simulation
technique is proposed and being applied to knitted fabric composites.
