ABSTRACT
This paper discusses the development, implementation and
application of numerical schemes for modelling the effects of temperature-dependent
material properties including chemical shrinkage and thermal expansion of resin on the
curing of thermosetting composites in pultrusion. The results of the three-dimensional
simulation of heat and mass transfer in pultrusion of regular as well as irregular and
hollow sections are presented.
